Welcome to my website and an overview of the services I offer. I've been involved in the provision of mixed media for the past 25yrs predominantly in a video filming and production-related role. My initial area of expertise when I first took to imaging almost thirty years ago was in wildlife imaging, predominantly underwater. I've attained the peak of broadcast industry recognition with an Emmy Award for contributions to the 'Great Migrations' series produced by National Geographic from an underwater cinematographic capacity. I've also 'placed' in numerous international short film festivals relative to wildlife and time-lapse genres of imaging. I've lived and filmed for many years in places such as Micronesia, South Africa, Belize, Indonesia, Australia, and Mexico, and am currently based on the island of Okinawa, Japan.

Photographically I've contributed to several international publications for wildlife and landscape imaging. I'm supported by several photographic industry manufacturers and pride myself on having become professionally efficient in a multitude of imaging arenas. I teach several photographic genres and hold regular workshops for people looking to take their imaging to the 'next level' as it were in Macro, Time-lapse, Wildlife, High Speed, and Landscape Photography to name a few of the genres I teach.

Having now been based in Okinawa for some seven years, going on eight, I have established myself as one of the few full time expat photographers on the island. Having been hit hard by the COVID pandemic I diversified a little to embrace the burgeoning AI Art revolution and am looking to start selling art prints of unique scenes I have created using that specific art medium. I embrace that technical aspect that is, what I see as, the next generational evolution of imaging as we know it.

Professionally I welcome any challenge within imaging and am open to discussions from any sector looking to do something 'just a little different'. Creative imaging has always been something I look for in any application and with teamwork and communication I believe anything is possible. At the end of the day it comes down to the conviction of the client, their determination transitions into enabling me to apply all of the tools at my disposal to accomplish specific aesthetics resulting in visually impactful media.
